Schedule a quiz, checkpoint, or lab

Last Updated: Sep 12, 2017 02:45PM EDT

To schedule your course's quizzes, checkpoints, StatTutors, labs, or other assessments:

1.     Visit the Table of Contents.

2.     Navigate to the assessment you would like to schedule

3.   There are two ways to schedule assessments:

  •   Click the clock icon inline with the assessment you want to schedule within the table of contents:

  • Alternatively, click the assessment and schedule from the page that appears:

4.     Apply availability or due dates and times, a time limit, a grace period for late submission, or override the course-level attempts-allowed setting to permit a different number of attempts on this assessment only.

Additionally, each student can have his or her own settings applied via the "Add exception for student" feature found at the bottom of the scheduling screen:

NOTE: The instructor's user profile time zone will govern the time your assessments are due. If you have remote students in a different time zone, those students' due times will adjust accordingly. For instance, an assessment due at 5:00 PM in a course whose instructor has a Los Angeles time zone will be displayed with a due time of 5:00 PM for a student in the same time zone, and as 8:00 PM for a student in New York.
